To progress through NSW licensing scheme and get
a full license you need to pass a theory and practical test. The
minium age is 16 years.

Safety Tips
On 3 May 2004 the alcohol limit
in NSW for all learners and provisional (P1 AND P2) Licences
holders became ZERO.
Learner drivers must be supervised at all
times by the holder of a full Australian licence.
Make sure you
have your L’s displayed at the front and in the back.
Observe a maximum
speed limit of 80km/h
Do not tow any other vehicle.
Do not exceed zero
blood concentration (this means you cannot drink before driving).
Do
not supervise another learner driver.
Ensure all
passengers are properly seated and restrained by approved seat belts or child restraint’.
Do not drive with any passengers in the
boot of the vehicle. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE
REQUIREMENTS IS AN OFFENCE AND CARRIES HEAVY PENALTIES INCLUDING
LOSS OF LICENCES.
